APASS / TEFL

Anglo-Polish Academic Services
TEFL Summer Camps (and Family Placements)
"APASS is a fraternity of students, graduates, teachers and persons involved in disseminating
English language and British culture in Poland." So says their introductory letter, which also mentions that they don't have a website. There isn't much information online for the scheme, so here's some.
If you can recommend an affordable scheme with opportunity for travelling, drop me a line and I'll post details here. It's worth asking your uni career dept if you have one — but above all, keep in mind any reputable group should be willing to put you in touch with previous members.
Update 2009-03-26: Puławy is looking to run two private camps. One is a language camp for primary age students running in July from the 5th to the 19th, the other a language/music camp for secondary age students running 24th July to 6th August. A tour similar to the ones that were arranged via APASS is likely to be offered. If anyone would like more details about travel, duties, etc. I have Magdalena Morawska's email address to pass on to anyone who's interested.
Update: 2009-11-28: There's been no sign of anyone starting APASS back up, but if any camps want to send me details to pass on to potential volunteers I'm happy to do so.
